2015 Willo Junior Development Camp report

Willo Camp 2015

Last weekend, the 2015 Willo Junior Development Camp saw twenty five juniors from NSW, ACT and Queensland come to Bungarra Jindabyne, for the Annual Willo Camp. Coaches Dylan Cooper, Ben Henderson and Kylie Webb were a formidable trio – all champions in their own right, and bringing to the camp their particular area of expertise which combined to give the juniors a packed weekend of skills, knowledge and inspiration to carry them well beyond the weekend and into the many months and of riding ahead. Bungarra is perfect for the Camp – with flowing trails, challenging technical areas, one mighty steep hill, pump tracks and a skills park, and all on the doorstep of the accommodation – making it perfect for a great weekend of mountain biking and learning.

The twenty five juniors were an inspiration to be with. Aged from thirteen to seventeen years, they worked hard – listened, applied their skills, listened more, tried again and never gave up. They all improved and approached the weekend with enthusiasm, persistence and a commitment which is inspiring to be see and holds great hope for the future of the sport.
