What is the CBR Academy?

Brisbane is all set to host the 2032 Olympics and if you’re aged 12-15 year old, then in 2032 you will be 22 – 25 years old and in your prime to represent Australia at a home Olympic Games in XCO Mountain Biking!

The CBR Academy has been established to assist riders with skills development, training prescription and race craft. The CBR Academy is for riders who want to improve their riding at a Local, State, National and International competition all the way through to those that have Olympic aspirations now and into the future.

The program will have an emphasis on education, athlete development and skills. There will be a focus on racing for developing and increasing learning opportunities.

The CBR Academy is taking applications from interested riders aged 12-15yo in 2022! The program will start in January 2022!

  • Long Term Athlete Development with age appropriate training
  • Our emphasis is on FUN, ENJOYMENT and PROGRESSION!
  • Educate riders on the various aspects of becoming a healthy and successful athlete for the longterm

  • Mentoring from World Championship experienced coaches who have proven results
